Russell Kirkland
Russell Kirkland is Professor of Religion and a member of the Steering Committee of INAS. An internationally recognized scholar in Taoism and Asian religions, he has taught courses involving Native American religion at Oberlin College, Stanford University, and Macalester College, and was the first faculty member to teach Native American religious traditions at UGA. He authored the entry on "Native American Religions" in the Encyclopedia of Women and World Religion (1999). In addition, he has refereed textbooks and other works on Native American religions and Indigenous Religions for several publishers.
