Channette Romero
Channette Romero is an Assistant Professor in the English Department. She received her BA from the College of William and Mary, and her MA and PhD from Rutgers University. A specialist in Native, Chicano/a, and African American literatures, she has written several articles on ethnic American literature, spirituality, and politics. She is currently writing a book entitled Searching For Relations: Spirituality, History, and the Public Sphere in Ethnic Women’s Fiction, which explores how ethnic women’s writing responds and contributes to ethnic nationalist movements.
