Robert S. Galen
Robert S. Galen is Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Public Health. He also serves as Chair, Division of Public Health of the Biomedical Health Science Instituite. He received his M.D. from Boston University and his M.P.H. from Columbia University. He is particularly interested in underserved populations, especially indigenous populations on Indian reservations and in the developing world. He will be teaching a course with Dr. Weaver on this topic during the fall 2007. He is director of the Studies Abroad program in Vietnam and China in public health, and directs the global health initiative for the College of Public Health.
