Armin Geertz is Professor of Religion at the University of Aarhus in Denmark. He is the author of several books on Native religious traditions and art, including the award-winning The Invention of Prophecy: Continuity and Meaning in Hopi Indian Religion. He has been knighted for his work by the Danish Crown. We are pleased to welcome him to UGA as the first INAS Visiting Professor.

Circe Sturm is associate professor of anthropology at the University of Oklahoma. She is the author of Blood Politics: Race, Culture, and Identity in the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
